Key Responsibilities
- Drive new business acquisition for IT services by identifying and qualifying leads in targeted verticals such as Insurance, Transportation, Manufacturing, Healthcare, and Consumer Goods.
- Leverage industry relationships and consultative selling strategies to build and maintain a robust pipeline.
- Own the end-to-end sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure, including:
- Cold outreach and in-person prospecting
- Discovery meetings and presentations to C-level stakeholders
- Develop strong, long-term client relationships that foster repeat business and referrals.
- Create compelling, client-specific value propositions aligned with their business goals and challenges.
- Collaborate closely with delivery, marketing, and pre-sales teams to craft winning solutions.
- Monitor key sales metrics, analyze win/loss data, and implement strategies to improve conversion rates and overall performance.
- Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in IT services sales with a successful track record of selling into US and/or Europe regions.
- Previous experience working with IT services companies offering solutions similar to Programmers.io (custom app development, legacy system modernization, support services, etc.).
- Proven experience in solution selling and navigating complex sales cycles with mid-to-large enterprise clients.
- Strong hunter mindset – skilled in identifying new business opportunities, cold calling, and lead nurturing.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, especially with C-suite executives.
- Expertise in building and presenting customized value propositions that combine both products and services.
- Demonstrated success in working with verticals such as Insurance, Transportation, Manufacturing, Healthcare, or Consumer industries.
- Experience using CRM systems to manage pipeline and sales activities.
